Escuelita en Casa was born from the need to help families interact with distance learning technologies. In its first two months, as the world learned to navigate the COVID19 pandemic; 70 bilingual volunteers in 10 different cities came together to help children from Corona, Queens ("the epicenter of the epicenter") to complete their school homework, help parents communicate with school teachers and accompany children addressing questions about the reality they were going through.
Escuelita en Casa nació de la necesidad de ayudar familias a interactuar con las tecnologias de la educación a distancia. En sus dos primero meses mientras el mundo aprendía a navegar la pandemia de COVID19. 70 voluntarios bilingües en 10 ciudades diferentes se unieron para ayudar a niños de Corona, Queens ("el epicentro del epicentro") a cumplir con sus deberes escolares, ayudar a padres a comunicarse con profesores de la escuela y acompañar a niños abordando las dudas de la realidad que atravesaban.
